TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Now for the boring Bit, (!) but please take time to familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions below.
Booking Terms
All bookings are taken on the understanding that the customer has read and accepted all terms and conditions stated.
Princess Occasions will not accept any responsibility for the hirer not thoroughly reading and understanding all terms and conditions.
A £50 Save the Date deposit will provisionally secure your date until your showroom appointment. This holds your date for 14 days after your appointment.
Princess Occasions will continue to take enquires for all dates until the booking fee or a Save the Date deposit is received. These are are non-refundable.
The booking invoice is a binding contract between Princess Occasions and the hirer, and does not require a signature to confirm this. The transfer of monies, acts as the hirers signature and acceptance. Non signature is not sufficient to cancel this agreement.
Any questions regarding any of the terms, must be reported to Princess Occasions within 28 days of the booking date.
Everything remains the sole property of Princess Occasions at all times.
All items are for HIRE only unless otherwise stated.
Any changes to the invoice after booking can only be made with the discretion of Princess Occasions, subject to availability.
The hirer is solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period and is fully responsible for any injury, death or damage to any persons or property.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death that occur during the duration of the hire period.
Payment
A £50 Save the Date deposit will provisionally secure your date until your showroom appointment. This holds your date for 14 days after your appointment.
A 50% booking fee is required to secure the booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The remaining balance is due 2 months prior to the event. Failure to pay the final instalment on time will result in the booking being cancelled.
All payments to be made via bank transfer. Paypal is only accepted at the discretion of Princess Occasions.
Charges will be applied to any property hired that is damaged or lost. Full list of charges are available on request.
The booking is only secured after the 50% booking fee has been received.
Payment of the booking fee is the hirers acceptance and understanding of all terms.
Travel is charged at 50p per mile, each way. This includes travel (there and back) from your venue for set up, and (there and back) from your venue for collection.
A one off charge of £100 is added for any venue where a room turnaround is needed, or if you would like us to stay and repurpose props from ceremony to wedding breakfast.
Payment Plans
A £50 Save the Date deposit will provisionally secure your date until your showroom appointment. This holds your date for 14 days after your appointment.
A 10% booking fee is required to secure the booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The remaining balance is then split into equal monthly deposit payments, finishing 2 months prior to the event. Any missed or late payments will incur a £25 admin charge. All monies are non refundable.
Failure to pay the final instalment on time will result in the booking being cancelled.
All payments to be made via bank transfer and are non refundable.

Cancelation
In the event of the a cancellation, all monies paid will be lost and remain the property of Princess Occasions, regardless of how early the booking is cancelled.
Princess Occasions will not incur any liability due to the contract not being fulfilled due to force majeure - such as extreme weather, flood, fire or any other acts of god. Every effort will be made in order to fulfil the contract.
Hire Items
Everything stated on the booking invoice will be provided at the event. It is the hirers responsibility to check this, and Princess Occasions will not be held responsible if something is missing from the invoice without the hirer informing us. Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible if items don’t match other hire items form external suppliers, or the overall look is not what the hirer had envisaged.
Princess Occasions shall be granted full artistic licence during styling, set up and installation on the day. Princess Occasions will make every decision in the best interest of the hirer. This may include altering colours, positioning, props and styling themes slightly in order to achieve a greater desired effect.
Princess Occasions will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or death as a result of open flame. The hirer should ensure that candles are permitted and should take every precaution that these are used and maintained safely after Princess Occasions have left the venue.
The hirer is solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period and is fully responsible for any injury, death or damage to any persons or property. Any missing or damaged items upon collection will incur a charge and will be invoiced at the cost of the hirer.
Any collections that are required to take place after 11pm will incur an additional £350 charge, in addition to the travel charge.
A one off set up /styling serve charge of £250 will be added to each booking dependent on location of venue.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death that occur during the duration of the hire period.
Any items significantly damaged that need to claimed against an insurance policy, the hirer is fully responsible for all excesses and any additional charges that result in an insurance claim.
Electrical / audio items will be PAT tested with a certificate available upon request. Audio Guestbook files will be sent via email within 48 hours after the event. Princess Occasions will not accept any responsibility for poor quality or missing recordings. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure this is positioned in a quiet room away from any background noise to ensure the best quality of recordings.
Chair covers are only available in white lycra and fit the majority of hotel banqueting chairs.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for ill-fitting chair covers or sashes if chairs are a particularly distinctive shape. All linen in washed in non biological detergent and Princess Occasions will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions due to this. All linens are ironed, however slight creasing may occur through transportation. This is not a matter for complaint.
Colours may vary from that of the picture, due to availability, lighting, camera etc. Colours will be sourced as close to the colour pictured as possible.
Princess Occasions may use photography taken during the hire period, and is eligible to do so. We will not share any images before the event has taken place.
Sweets / Donuts / Biscuits
The hirer accepts full responsibility of accepting and understanding ingredients/age guidelines of sweets, donuts and biscuits and informing their guests of this information. Full ingredients of all sweets and donuts available on request.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death caused from the consumption of any sweets, donuts or biscuits provided.
All sweets, donuts and biscuits provided. have been made in a factory also manufacturing nut products.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for any allergies, injuries or death resulting from nuts or other products.
Sweet and donut variations may vary due to availability.
Approx 100g of sweets per guest.
Vegetarian and dietary requirement sweets and biscuit choices are available on request.
The Hirer is fully responsible for ensuring that children are supervised at all times during the hire period to avoid choking. Princess Occasions will not be responsible for such injuries or death. All sweets are provided in plastic apothecary jars to avoid any injury or damage from glassware.
Princess Occasions cannot be held responsible for any safety issues regarding consumption of sweets, donuts or biscuits provided or the use of any equipment used.
All jars are cleaned and sterilised and sweets are filled at the venue using food safety approved, one use gloves.
Showroom
Princess Occasions offer two complimentary appointments at the showroom, subject to availability. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure these are scheduled around 8/12 weeks before your event. Princess Occasions will not chase or remind you to make the second appointment, it is the hirers responsibility to ensure plenty of time is given before your wedding.
Any additional appointments are charged at £50 per hour slot.
Insurance - Princess Occasions has full Public Liability insurance up to the sum of £2,000,000 and insurance certificate is available on request.
All electronic equipment is PAT tested according to legal requirements and a certificate is available on request.
